NC women mark Women's History Month with Norma Rae (3/14)

NC Women United will commemorate International Women's Month on Saturday, March 14 in Raleigh with a free screening of Norma Rae, which stars Sally Field and is based on the life of Crystal Lee Sutton, a textile worker at J.P. Stevens from Roanoke Rapids, NC who was fired from her job for trying to help her coworker form a union.
