Central Labor Councils

Central Labor Councils (CLCs) are the local chapters of the AFL-CIO. CLCs are the labor bodies through which unions of working people work together on issues important to them and their communities. CLCs provide essential services to the labor movement like screening candidates for elected office and supporting worker organizing. 

Each CLC covers a geographic area comprised of several counties in North Carolina. CLCs elect their own leadership, maintain their own contact information, and schedule their own meetings and events. We have listed as much of this information as possible.
