On Tuesday, Governor Pat McCrory signed into law the what the National Employment Law Project (NELP) called the most severe cuts to unemployment insurance made by any state in the nation, in the state with the 5th highest unemployment rate in the nation at 9.2% with over 400,000 people looking for work.
