Paid Intern, Campaign Manager, and Data Coordinator

The North Carolina State AFL-CIO is currently hiring for multiple positions, now including two full-time positions in addition to our part-time paid internship for the Spring!

Campaign Manager & Field Director

The Campaign Manager & Field Director develops, implements, and manages assigned electoral, legislative, and issue campaigns, and they must live in the Raleigh-Durham area. Minimum starting salary is $63,000 plus employer provided healthcare, a 401(K), and generous paid leave. This is a permanent position covered by a collective bargaining agreement with the Washington-Baltimore News Guild, CWA.

Data & Program Coordinator

The Data and Program Coordinator will work with us to support our Labor 2024 member-to-member mobilization program, and they must live in the Raleigh-Durham area. The coordinator is responsible for compiling data, tracking metrics, and coordinating activities to increase member engagement and mobilization. Minimum starting salary is $60,000 plus employer provided healthcare, a 401(K), and generous paid leave. The position is grant-funded and time-limited through December 31, 2024 and is partially covered by a collective bargaining agreement with the Washington-Baltimore News Guild, CWA.

Paid Intern for Spring 2024

Our Spring 2024 paid internship period runs January 16th through May 15th for approximately 10 hours per week, depending on job performance and budget. Pay is $18/hour. We encourage women and people of color to apply. While some work will be remote, interns must be able to work in-person from our office in Raleigh when required. Learn more about the internship here.
