Registration still open for the ILCA's 60th Annual Convention

The International Labor Communications Association ( will bring its 60th Annual Convention to Raleigh, featuring dynamite presenters including AFL-CIO Executive VP Tefere Gebre and leader of the Forward Together Movement, North Carolina's own, Rev. William Barber!

What: ILCA Convention and opening session
When: Thursday, September 24 beginning at 1:00 PM
Where: Sheraton Downtown Raleigh, 421 S. Salisbury St.

State AFL-CIO secretary-treasurer MaryBe McMillan will be speaking when the convention convenes at 1:00 PM Thursday.

Immediately following MaryBe's welcome, we've got the opening panel - entitled Cackalacky Case Study in Organizing the South - featuring Working America, Raise Up, FLOC, the Beloved Community Center, and the Institute for Southern Studies and moderated by the NC Justice Center.
