Central Carolina Worker Justice Center inaugural event is September 3

North Carolina is getting a new workers' center in time for Labor Day, and they're inviting you to take the mic and have your say about life as a worker in Greensboro.

The new Central Carolina Worker Justice Center will hold its first event on Thursday, September 3 at its office on E. Washington Street in downtown Greensboro.

What: Workers Speak Out, the inaugural event of NC's newest workers' center
When: Thursday, September 3 from 11:00 AM to noon
Where: Central Carolina Worker Justice Center, 400 E. Washington Street, Greensboro, NC 27401

Moderated by Dr. Goldie Wells, Chair, Interactive Resource Center Board of Directors and MaryBe McMillan, Secretary-Treasurer, NC AFL-CIO and billed as "Workers Speak Out", this public forum will give any worker in the Greensboro area time, space, and a mic to have your say about what you need to win economic and racial justice in your own workplace and in your community.
