Alia Todd

Alia Todd is the Statewide Trainer for the North Carolina State AFL-CIO. Prior to being hired, Alia interned with the state fed during Labor 2018, through the apprenticeship program WILL Empower, designed to place women into labor leadership positions. Alia is a native of North Carolina and is passionate about issues facing working people and their families. She has experience building power with service and retail industry workers. Alia is responsible for building engagement within the state fed’s local union mobilization structure, providing training opportunities for locals and our CLCs, and increasing engagement for state legislative and political programs. Alia is a member of the Washington-Baltimore News Guild, TNG-CWA Local 32035.
