It's sure to be an uplifting and educational event!

International Women's Day has been observed since the early 1900s as a day to celebrate women and achievements made by women and in women's rights. The theme for 2012 is "Connecting Girls, Inspiring Futures".

This special event in Salisbury is just the thing to inspire North Carolina girls with the some of the many achievements of North Carolina women in the labor movement. If you live or work in the Salisbury area, we hope you will be able to attend this program on March 8.
