U.S. Senate takes up bill to dismantle America's Postal Service

In dealing with Congress, sometimes (often?) you just have to shake your head.

Such is the case with the United States Senate, where North Carolina Senators Richard Burr and Kay Hagan are now considering a bill that would dismantle the United States Postal Service!

Show some solidarity with our brothers and sisters in the National Association of Letter Carriers and American Postal Workers Union. Join one of two rallies next week to Save America's Postal Service:

In Winston-Salem - targeting Richard Burr

What: Rally to Save America's Postal Service
When: Thursday, April 12 from 4:30 to 6:30pm
Where: Outside Sen. Richard Burr's office at Five Points, 2000 W. First Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27104, (meet at the corner of Stratford Rd, Miller St)

In Greensboro - targeting Kay Hagan

What: Rally to Save America's Postal Service

Rallies were held last Fall in every Congressional District in North Carolina to stop one bill in the United States House that would have ended the USPS and support another that would have saved it. Sadly, we have to do this with our U.S. Senators.

Don't let the forces of service cuts be the only voices heard by Senators Kay Hagan and Richard Burr! Rally to Save America's Postal Service on April 12th!
