Find out what your family needs to know

Join us in Charlotte for an important panel discussion at 6:30 PM on Monday, December 1 and hear from workers, policy experts, congressional representatives, and union members on what you need to know about pending trade deals like TPA, TISA, TTIP, and "NAFTA on steroids" - the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).

North Carolinians have seen 110,300 jobs lost to China since it joined the WTO (a fast tracked agreement) and 18,900 jobs lost to Mexico under NAFTA (a fast tracked agreement). We need a trade policy that will raise wages and create jobs—not the same old failed ideas.

Now the President and some members of Congress want to put new deals on the "fast track" to passage without proper, constitutional debate in Congress. Well that merits a big "NO MA'AM" from North Carolina workers!

What: Panel about trade deals with policy experts, policy makers, and workers
When: Monday, Dec. 1st from 6:30 to 8:00 PM
Where: CWA Local 3603, 5108 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, NC 28205

FREE refreshments will be provided!

Call Adam at the NC State AFL-CIO at 919-833-6678 for more info.
