Keeping the spotlight on harmful policy and politics

Each Monday evening, the North Carolina Chapter of the NAACP and other progressive groups are staging actions at the North Carolina General Assembly to protest attacks on workers' rights and other regressive legislation. If you are interested in participating, visit for more details.

Some participants have been arrested for civil disobedience, including doctors, professors, clergy, students, and others.

Those who do not want to participate in the civil disobedience action can still attend and show their support. It's important that legislators see that citizens don't support their attempts to move our state backward.
