Passing of Mrs P. R. Latta and Denise Cooper

The NC Labor Movement has lost two of its best friends. We are sad to announce the passing of Hope Gaynelle "Gay" Latta, wife of NC labor union icon P. R. Latta, who died Tuesday, September 25.

We are also sad to announce that Denise Cooper, the sister of the late Charlette Cooper who passed two years ago, died Saturday, September 15, 2007.

Our thoughts are with both the Latta and Cooper families.
