Carolina Labor School will return Sunday, July 21 for 6 days of labor education, skill building, and solidarity bonding at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Registration is open to members of any NC State AFL-CIO affiliate.

While we try to accommodate everyone who wants to attend, only the first 80 students registered will be guaranteed seats in the order in which they’re registered - so don’t wait! Please select your students as soon as possible and submit your registration with payment no later than Friday, June 21, 2019 for guaranteed admission and the “Standard” rate.
Instructors from the Labor Education Program at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock will give practical leadership training for your local union officers and shop stewards. Our General Counsel, Mike Okun and his friends Mr. and Ms. Pee Wee, will give participants with an understanding of the most important and useful aspects of state labor law. We will also have an experienced Workers’ Compensation lawyer to explain its most important components.

Participants should start getting in shape for our annual Game Day & Picnic, which will be held Wednesday afternoon at Empie Park in Wilmington!
