Local elections are underway in North Carolina, and it’s never been so important to elect working people and union members to City Council and Commissioner positions.

Unions like yours did the research, conducted interviews, and voted to recommend candidates across North Carolina that will stand up for working people, from Wilson to Wilmington.

The endorsed candidates have made commitments to good jobs, worker safety, and affordable towns, and some of them are union members themselves.

Early voting is currently open and ends on Saturday, November 1st at 3 PM.

You can register to vote during early voting, so if you’re not registered, make sure to go before 3 PM on November 1st, and you can register and vote on the same day. On November 4th, Election Day, only those who are registered can vote.

Remember to bring your photo ID to vote, and take a minute to check your registration and find your local polling place at vt.ncsbe.gov.

Your vote matters, and local elections can have a huge impact on you and your family, so make sure to bring them along when you vote on or before Election Day, November 4th!
