Your vote makes a difference - especially in local elections!
Several union members are running for office in local elections that will be decided Nov. 7, 2017:
- Braxton Winston II in Charlotte is a member of IATSE
- Louis Forrisi in Siler City is a member of APWU and AFSCME
- Timothy Greene in Asheboro is a union letter carrier
- James Albert Ray in Wilmington is also a member of APWU
- Brian M. Leonard in River Bend is a member of AFGE

How you vote is a personal decision, but your decision will affect your job and your family. After reviewing questionnaires, interviewing candidates, and voting in a democratic process, Central Labor Council delegates endorsed candidates in the following cities and towns:

- Fayetteville
- Gastonia
- Greensboro
- Harrisburg

- Raleigh
