Billboard tour of N.C. to demand Sen. Burr do his job
Tell Sen. Burr "We Need Nine" justices on the Supreme Court
A mobile billboard will travel to Charlotte, Greensboro, Raleigh, and Greenville next week telling North Carolina Sens. Richard Burr and Thom Tillis that we need nine justices to have a fully functioning Supreme Court.
Who: Progress North Carolina, Americans United for Change
What: #WeNeedNine mobile billboard tour of North Carolina
When: May 4 - May 7
Where: Charlotte, Greensboro, Raleigh, and Greenville
Sen. Burr is campaigning for re-election in November, asking North Carolina voters - most of whom would likely get fired for trying to collect a paycheck while refusing to work for it - to let him keep doing a job he's currently refusing to do by blocking any consideration of President Obama's nominee, Judge Merrick Garland, to fill the open seat.
Come to one of these tour stops to demand Sen. Burr (and Sen. Tillis) get to work so the Supreme Court can do its job:
