2025 Advanced Labor School in Raleigh

We are excited to announce the return of Advanced Labor School, Monday-Wednesday, May 19th-21st, to Teamsters Local 391, 6317 Angus Drive, in Raleigh!

Led this year by our General Counsel Emeritus Mike Okun, Advanced Labor School brings together union members with labor and employment law experts for two and a half days of intensive training and discussion. The program is for local union leaders who want a deeper understanding of contract administration, negotiation and arbitration, duty of fair representation, "right to work," the National Labor Relations Board, and FMLA/ADA/OSHA than what we can cover at Carolina Labor School.

You must have completed Carolina Labor School or be an elected principal officer of your union to register. We’re limiting class size to 40 students – with no more than 2 students from any one affiliate and a waiting list when full.

Tuition is $300 per student, which includes lunch on Monday and Tuesday, daily refreshments, and all materials.

Class will be 9am to 5pm on May 19th and 20th and 9am to noon on the 21st. On-site registration will begin at 8:00am on Monday, May 19th.
