75th Anniversary of NLRB on Nov. 19
Mark Pearce, formerly a union attorney who was recently nominated by President Obama and confirmed by the Senate to the NLRB, will be visiting North Carolina to speak at a luncheon celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the NLRB and the 60th Anniversary of Region 11.
The luncheon will be held on Friday, Nov. 19 in Winston-Salem. Also speaking will be David Prouty, formerly the General Counsel of UNITE! who was involved in many of the textile organizing campaigns in the state and who is currently the senior labor counsel for the Major League Baseball Players Association.
