The North Carolina Alliance for Retired Americans (NCARA) will hold its next triennial convention on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at the Teamsters Local 391 Hall in Raleigh, featuring a keynote address by North Carolina Attorney General Josh Stein and opening remarks by NC State AFL-CIO President MaryBe McMillan. Lunch will be provided.

Lunch: Suggested donation of $5 per attendee
The NCARA is the state chapter of the Alliance for Retired Americans -- a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization of retired trade union members affiliated with the AFL-CIO and the Change to Win Federation, as well as non-union, community-based members.
Every three years, the NCARA convenes in Raleigh to choose new officers and reorganize to "ensure social and economic justice and full civil rights for all citizens so that they may enjoy lives of dignity, personal and family fulfillment and security."
