NC AFL-CIO Launches 2022 Election Website
Visit bit.ly/nclabor2022 today!
Union members and working people in general have a lot at stake in the outcome of federal, state, and local elections happening in North Carolina this year.
We have a tremendous opportunity this year to elect labor-endorsed candidate Cheri Beasley to the US Senate. Formerly the first Black woman to serve as NC Supreme Court Chief Justice, Beasley would be the first Black person to represent North Carolina in the US Senate. It is also imperative that we protect Governor Cooper’s veto in the NC General Assembly, maintain a pro-labor majority on the NC Supreme Court, and re-elect union candidates running across North Carolina.
With so much on the line, the North Carolina State AFL-CIO has launched a new website that will serve as a hub of election-related information for union members and their families in 2022.
Visitors to NC Labor 2022 will find important information for union voters – including how to vote, a list of endorsements, and election materials like flyers and graphics – as well as ways you can help us get out the union vote and a calendar of events and deadlines. The website will be updated throughout the year, so be sure to check back often!
NC Labor 2022 is paid for by the NC State AFL-CIO for the benefit of union household members in North Carolina and not authorized by any candidate or candidate’s committee.
