Our 2011 Legislative Conference will be held February 8-9, 2011 at the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel. This conference is both an education forum and a lobbying opportunity for your membership. We will need broad participation from local unions, councils, and retiree organizations in this important event to prepare for what we expect to be a challenging legislative session for workers and working families.
We have extended the deadline for delegates and guests to register for the Labor Legislative Conference. If your local union has yet to register its attendees, now is the time to do so.
In order to protect the gains we have made over the years, we must be able to show strength in our ability to mobilize our members around our issues and communicate a clear commitment to fight for all workers. That is why it is so important you and your members show up in big numbers at our 2011 Legislative Conference.
