Calling all unions to Raleigh
Our 2017 Labor Legislative Conference (LLC) will be held at the Sheraton Raleigh Hotel, 421 S. Salisbury St, Raleigh, NC on February 7-8, 2017. This conference combines training on our legislative agenda with a Labor Lobby Day to advocate for working people and is open to all union members, members of Working America, and AFL-CIO constituency groups.

The 2016 election resulted in a Republican takeover of the White House and a continued Republican supermajority in the North Carolina General Assembly. Considering the results, the next LLC will be more important than ever. Being informed, organized, and engaged with our allies and our members is how we will overcome what's coming.
Please make plans now to attend the LLC, where we will strategize and lobby lawmakers to advance a working people’s agenda. Our strength will come from our ability to mobilize our members around our issues and communicate a clear commitment to fight for all workers. That is why it is so important you and your members show up in big numbers to the LLC in February!
Hotel Reservations
RESERVE ONLINE: bit.ly/ncllc2017 (easiest method) or contact the Sheraton at 919-834-9900 no later than Friday, January 13, 2017, and ask for the “NC State AFL-CIO 2017” group rate ($152 plus hotel tax). Due to our early start time Tuesday, plan to arrive Monday and stay two nights.
Schedule, Fees, and Registration
Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday (2/7). We will meet at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday and adjourn at noon on Wednesday (2/8). Registration fees are $75 for delegates (includes reception and banquet) and $50 for guests attending the banquet only.
Fees should be made payable to the NC State AFL-CIO. Registration forms should be filled in and mailed back to us by Friday, January 20, 2017. Make copies if you need more forms.
