Too many people in North Carolina are stuck with jobs that don’t pay enough to make ends meet. Even working full-time, survival is a struggle. Raising the minimum wage would give a boost for working families and is long overdue.
That’s why on Tuesday, May 22nd, the Raising Wages NC coalition is hosting a statewide lobby day to put our elected officials on notice that the time is now for state lawmakers to raise the minimum wage for North Carolina’s working families to $15 an hour. Click here to register.

Who: Everyone living or working in North Carolina and living-wage business owners
How: Free bus transportation from Asheville, Greensboro, Charlotte, and Wilmington in the morning and return in the evening is available. Reserve your seat now, and we’ll be in touch with specific times and locations once you register.
