Too many people in North Carolina are stuck with jobs that don’t pay enough to make ends meet. Even working full-time, survival is a struggle. Raising the minimum wage would give a boost for working families and is long overdue.
That's why on Tuesday, May 22nd, the Raising Wages NC coalition is hosting a statewide lobby day to put our elected officials on notice that the time is now for state lawmakers to raise the minimum wage for North Carolina's working families to $15 an hour. Click here to register.
