Jobs with Justice Brings U.S. Labor History Alive

North Carolina Triad Jobs with Justice is sponsoring a U.S. labor history class on five Sunday afternoons in a row beginning on October 24th and ending on November 21st. The title of the class is: “The Historical Struggle for Working Class Unity in the USA and the Way Forward in Today’s Economic Crisis.” The theme of this fall 2010 class is the importance of and struggle for unity of workers in our fight for a better life. The classes will be seminar-style and take place at the Glenwood Public Library in Greensboro from 3:00 PM to 4: 30 PM. Veteran trade unionist, Richard Koritz, who is also a labor educator and a member of the Board of Directors of the International Civil Rights Center and Museum in Greenboro will be the class teacher.
