From AFL-CIO President Rich Trumka's remarks:

"The American Labor Movement stands with the people of Egypt and its new independent unions. When the people lead, your leaders will follow. The future is on the side of democracy and social justice. And we want you to know that you're not alone. We stand in solidarity with you."

Don't miss the comments by Hong Kong trade union leader, Lee Cheuk Yan, who was in Tiananmen Square in 1989. In the video, Lee recounts witnessing the Chinese government's brutal crackdown. His remarks (in English) begin at the 10:27 mark.
