The Triad chapter of Jobs with Justice will run a short, 3-sessions in 3-weeks labor series out of the CWA Local 3607 union hall in Greensboro beginning Sunday, September 13.
Triangle Jobs with Justice (JwJ) will hold it’s first membership assembly of 2013 on January 30th in Raleigh. JwJ is a coalition that brings together labor unions, faith and community groups, and student activists to fight for working people.
State AFL-CIO reps joined other union leaders and advocates for workers from 33 states on Capitol Hill this week to lobby Congress to finally let expire the Bush tax giveaway to the top 2% of taxpayers and to protect the future economic security of the other 98% by not cutting Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.

American is threatening lay-offs and massive wage cuts, and without a union the workers will have no voice. Come out and show the workers they are not alone!
