"I am with you" says Rep. Adams

Members of the Communication Workers of America, United Auto Workers, Working America, and both the Triad and Southern Piedmont Central Labor Councils sat down with Congresswoman Alma Adams (D-12th) at her office in Greensboro today to talk about working families' strong opposition to giving President Obama power to "fast track" dangerous trade agreements like the Trans-Pacific Partnership (aka, NAFTA on steroids).

Rep. Adams listened as her constituents talked about how no "free trade" agreement, no matter how terrible for American workers or consumers or our democracy itself, has ever been defeated once given "fast track" status. The TPP would be the worst trade deal in history, and Rep. Adams pledged to stand with her constituents against both "fast track" and the TPP.
