Safe jobs are the right of every worker!

Join us at 10 AM Friday, April 28th in Raleigh for a press conference and solemn memorial service during which participants will toll a bell 150 times - once for each person in North Carolina who died while working for a better life in 2015 - and will call for the state Department of Labor to do more to prevent workplace injuries and fatalities.

Safe jobs are the right of every worker, and the 150 people who died on the job in 2015 - the most recent year for which the total count of workplace fatalities is known - is evidence that the NC Dept. of Labor must do more to protect working people

What: Solemn memorial service and press conference
When: Friday, April 28, 2017, at 10:00 AM
Where: North Carolina State Capitol (south pad/Morgan St.), 1 E. Edenton Street, Raleigh, NC 27601
Attire: Please wear black in honor of the dead
