You have the right to form a union

We applaud the National Labor Relations Board’s issuance of the rule requiring employers to post a notice in their workplaces notifying employees of their rights. The new rule will explain to workers they have the right to collective bargaining, to talk with their coworkers about unions, and to engage in other union activity.

"The rule is a responsible and much needed step in ensuring employees are aware of their legal rights under the National Labor Relations Act," said AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka:

"Just as employers are required to notify their employees of their rights around health and safety, wages, and discrimination on the job, this rule gives clear information to employees about their rights under this fundamental labor law so that workers are better equipped to exercise and enforce them.
