During the event, which will be livestreamed on Facebook and also will mark the 50th anniversary of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, speakers will connect the dots between worker empowerment and workplace safety and call for Congress to pass the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act so the lives and livelihoods of fewer workers are left to the mercy of employers and regulators who don't care.

This event is part of a national week of action to pass the PRO Act, April 26-May 1, encompassing International Workers Memorial Day and May Day.
