What: Labor History lecture series
When: 3 to 4:30 PM every Sunday from October 26 to November 16
Where: Communication Workers of America (CWA) union hall, 129 Industrial Ave, Greensboro, NC 27406

Long-time labor activist, letter carrier / executive board member of the NALC state council, and labor educator, Richard Koritz will facilitate classes being taught this Fall in Greensboro on the following topics:

  1. Big Steel and Jim Crow: How U.S. Steel used Slave Labor long after the Emancipation Proclamation (instructor: Horace Woods)
  2. The CIO Divides Itself – The Labor Movement after WW2 and the Repercussions for Today (instructor: Chris Cecil)
  3. The Fight for the 8 Hour Work Day and for Fast Food Workers a Living Wage – Then and Now (instructor: Sandra Koritz)
  4. Where Do We Go From Here? (instructor: Richard Koritz)
