Honor the dead, demand the living at NCDOL do more to protect workers
UPDATE: We’ve updated text in this blog post to reflect the latest count, recently revised by the US Department of Labor.
Join us 10 AM Thursday, April 28th for a press conference and solemn memorial service to honor the
128 137 workers who died on the job in North Carolina in 2014 and to call for the North Carolina Department of Labor to do more to prevent workplace injuries and fatalities. We will ring a bell 128 137 times to memorialize each person who died while working for a better life.
