On the final day of our just concluded 2009 Legislative Conference, almost 100 attendees took time to write letters to Senator Kay Hagan, thanking her for standing by her campaign promise to vote for the Employee Free Choice Act when it comes before the United States Senate.

Delegates also wrote to their member of Congress, urging them to sign-on as co-sponsors of the Employee Free Choice Act and vote for its passage in the U.S. House. Congressmen David Price (D-4th), Larry Kissell (D-8th), and Brad Miller (D-13th) are already co-sponsors.

The Employee Free Choice Act could come up for consideration in the Congress soon. When it does, you can make sure members have heard from us about why passage of the bill is so important to building an economy that works for everyone again.

Join our letter writing campaign to thank Senator Kay Hagan for standing by working people who want to bargain for a better life, and urge your representative to do the same. Download our sample messages to Congress and use our contact info for the 111th Congress to fire off your letters, today.
