Class will be in session July 17th - 22nd

After taking two years off due to the pandemic, we are excited to announce that Carolina Labor School will return to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington this July 17-22, 2022!

Two Ways to Register:
1. Register by mail and check using this form; or
2. Buy tickets online (fees apply): bit.ly/ncafl22cls

A highlight of the school will be instructors from the Labor Education Program at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock, who provide practical leadership training for your local union officers and shop stewards. Our new General Counsel, Trisha Pande, joined by our longtime former attorney Mike Okun, will provide participants with an understanding of the most important and useful aspects of state and federal labor law. Former Tennessee Supreme Court Justice Penny White will join Mike to lead students through a mock arbitration. We will also have an experienced Workers’ Compensation lawyer to explain its most important components.

Students should start getting in shape for our annual Game Day & Picnic, which will be held Wednesday afternoon at Empie Park and include volleyball and a dinner of BBQ and fried chicken.
