Tens of thousands of farmworkers travel to North Carolina each year for the tobacco harvest. They toil endless hours for sub-poverty wages under some of the most dangerous working conditions in the nation.

Reynolds American, Inc. reaps billions of dollars in profits each year, while farmworkers continue to face serious human rights abuses in the tobacco fields and labor camps. Though Reynolds does not directly employ farmworkers, it has a moral responsibility to address the exploitation in it’s supply chain.
