Meet Cisneros and learn more about farmworker organizing in North Carolina

Join world-renowned author and poet, Sandra Cisneros, for a public reading followed by a lively discussion on the experience of working class immigrants in the US today. This will be on Thursday, August 2nd at 7 pm in Hunt Library Auditorium. The auditorium is on NC State's Centennial Campus. This event is FREE and open to the public. Get your free tickets here.

Books will be available for purchase on-site from the NC State Bookstore and Ms. Cisneros will be signing books following the event. All donations and proceeds from the event will be donated to support agricultural workers and their union, the Farm Labor Organizing Committee (FLOC).
