Join us for a CRUCIAL day of action at legislature

UPDATE:Click here to see pictures from the rally.

The Voter Photo ID Bill being rammed through our legislature is a bad idea.

Despite a total lack of evidence that voter fraud is a problem in North Carolina, Republicans are pushing a bill that would cost North Carolina millions to implement, disenfranchise honest citizens, and make voting a bigger hassle for everyone.

What: STOP Voter Photo ID Bill Day of Action
When: Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 11:00 AM
Where: Legislative Building, 16 W. Jones St., Raleigh, NC

Stop extremists in the General Assembly from taking away our voting rights! Gather with us in front of the Legislative Building at 11:00 AM for a rally and for lobbying our state legislators. Join us in telling the media our side of the story. It's time to take a stand for democracy!

PLEASE wear RED. Why? Because we're FIRED UP over this blatant attempt to suppress voter turnout! Also, RED means STOP and we need to stop this unnecessary and expensive voter photo ID from becoming law. North Carolina is better than this!
