AFL-CIO president one of Esquire magazine's Americans of the Year

Esquire has published its Americans of the Year edition, and AFL-CIO president Richard Trumka is profiled for the feature. It's a fascinating look into the life of the man who leads America's labor movement. Trumka gets what's happening to American workers because he has lived it, says Esquire:

"The American worker has been getting thrashed for thirty years. Jobs leaving the country, wages flat, his boss getting rich. One coal miner from Pennsylvania knows exactly what to do about it."
