Tessie Swope hired for Employee Free Choice Act campaign
Thanks to a national AFL-CIO grant, we have hired a temporary communications person to work on the Employee Free Choice Act campaign. Therese (Tessie) Swope worked with the New Mexico AFL-CIO on communications for their Labor 2008 program, and we’re pleased that she will be helping us for the next 6 months.
Tessie is available to help Central Labor Councils with internal communications like web sites and newsletters and with external communications like media events, op-eds and letters to the editor.
