NC AFL-CIO Joins Calls for Gov. McCrory to Concede Defeat to Roy Cooper

"Time for him to take his medicine, concede defeat, and move on."

MaryBe McMillan, secretary-treasurer of the NC State AFL-CIO, released the following statement on the North Carolina gubernatorial election:

“Roy Cooper campaigned against House Bill 2, won the most votes on November 8, and will be the next Governor of North Carolina. Clearly, that is a bitter pill for Gov. McCrory to swallow, but it’s time for him to take his medicine, concede defeat, and move on.”
