March with the AFL-CIO in H.K. on J. February 11

Forward together, not one step back!

The North Carolina State AFL-CIO will be proud to join all of our partners in social and economic justice for the 6th annual Historic Thousands on Jones Street (HKonJ), Saturday, February 11, 2012. We will march together from Shaw University to outside the legislative building on Jones Street. There we will convene the People's Assembly in support of the 14-point People's Agenda for North Carolina.

What: HKonJ 6
When: Saturday, February 11, 2012 - assembly begins at 9:30 A.M. and march begins at 10:30 A.M.
Where: Assembly at Shaw University on South Street, Raleigh, NC; march to 16 W. Jones Street

This year we invite delegations from our member unions and our network of activists to march with us behind the AFL-CIO banner. If you're interested, meet us at the corner of S. Wilmington and E. Cabarrus Streets (across the from the public parking deck) no later than 10:00 A.M., and we will walk to Shaw together to get lined up.
