Panelist: Justin Flores, Farm Labor Organizing Committee (FLOC)

Ending worker exploitation and abuse in NC's tobacco fields is another reason we must Organize the South!

Ten years ago thousands of farmworkers at Mount Olive Pickle Company won recognition of their union, the Farm Labor Organizing Committee, despite the fact that farm labor is exempted from the National Labor Relations Act.

Come to our panel at Duke on Feb. 17 to hear FLOC Vice President Justin Flores talk about how the fight to end the abuses in NC's tobacco fields is a fight to redeem the soul of the South.

RSVP for the panel at http://bit.ly/otsduke.

What: Panel discussion on how a workers’ movement in the South can change the nation
When: Monday, February 17, 2014 at 7:00 PM
