Your vote makes a difference - especially in local elections!

Several union members are running for office in local elections that will be decided Nov. 7, 2017:

  • Braxton Winston II in Charlotte is a member of IATSE
  • Louis Forrisi in Siler City is a member of APWU and AFSCME
  • Timothy Greene in Asheboro is a union letter carrier
  • James Albert Ray in Wilmington is also a member of APWU
  • Brian M. Leonard in River Bend is a member of AFGE

Vote early now until Nov. 3 or on Election Day, Nov. 7

How you vote is a personal decision, but your decision will affect your job and your family. After reviewing questionnaires, interviewing candidates, and voting in a democratic process, Central Labor Council delegates endorsed candidates in the following cities and towns:
