APWU Members Fired Up for National Day of Action, May 14

I Stand w Postal Workers post-image

Postal workers are bargaining for no less than the future of America’s postal service

On May 14, just six days before their contract expires, postal workers across the country will hold events organized around the theme, “I Stand with Postal Workers.” You can stand with them at events planned in North Carolina.

APWU members across the country are fired up for the National Day of Action on May 14, just one week before the Collective Bargaining Agreement is set to expire. More than 100 events scheduled events at postal facilities in 85 cities across 33 states and Puerto Rico, organized around the theme, “I Stand with Postal Workers.”  Actions range from rallies to press conferences to getting postcards signed outside post offices. Click here to find an event near you. To help spread the word, APWU created a Facebook National Day of Action event. Click here to invite friends, family and colleagues. Be sure to use the hashtag #0514Action when posting!
