Currently serves as President of the Greater Sandhills Central Labor Council.

Started teaching the fifth year of the IBEW apprentice program in 2001, and in 2004 graduated from NTI (National Training Institute). Presently on IBEW 379′s building and grounds committee, political action committee, and as the union’s webmaster.

Also President of the Triangle At-Large Labor Union Retiree Club. Served as President of the North Carolina A. Philip Randolph Institute from 1992 to 2003 and President of the Raleigh APRI Chapter from 1990 to 2004.

Brother Murray has served on our board as a Vice President of the NC AFL-CIO for three years.
